Virgin Wool Throw

As You Like It. A Blanket or Poncho.
In Finland one has to stock up on warmth during the short, hot summers because the winters in this cold-temperate climate zone are not just cold, they are long, especially in Lapland in the north, where they last almost three months longer than in the skerries in the south. In addition to the sauna, a national institution, the Finns gird themselves against the cold winter nights with a blanket or a poncho. The West Finnish weaving mill Lapuan Kankurit drew on their experience with the weaving of linen going back four generations to create the structured pattern of this virgin wool. This is evident in the true selvedge which only occurs when the pieces are woven in the given width on authentic looms. As warm clothing, the poncho can also be worn outside the house. And it's a perfect travel companion because it combines the functions of a blanket and jacket, plus it is light. The virgin wool comes from South America. It is spun in mills in Germany and Italy, dyed and then processed in Finland.
