Tellason Denim Jeans
Heavy jeans. From the shuttle loom.
A true heavyweight. The 14.75 oz. denim is woven for these pants in the White Oak Mill on the old shuttle loom – the traditional way, which you can see by the real selvages, the proof of its weaving origin. The just moderately loose-fitting pants are dyed in a very dark, almost black blue hue.
Tellason. Highest quality from California.
Supporting Tellason, which has its headquarters in San Francisco, are Tony Patella and Pete Searson. Both bring a fair amount of experience with them: before they started their own business a few years ago, they had already worked for two decades as made-to-order fashion designers in the clothing business and have since then earned themselves a good reputation with their own brand. Tellason follows three ironclad principles: first, only textiles from the USA are used, secondly, they are always produced there and thirdly, this is done with great care. The Cone Denim fabric for the jeans comes from the White Oak Mill in Greensboro, North Carolina, which has been weaving since 1905. They are cut and sewn in San Francisco.
The garment may rub off onto light-coloured materials such as other garments, furniture and upholstery fabrics.
