Heavy-Duty Positionality in Raw Steel.
The paragon for this trestle was a model used for years under the production table in a porcelain factory. Its weight of 15.5 kg and the construction of a closed steel frame ensure enormous stability. With the two cross struts, which additionally stabilize the trestle on each side, you can insert boards as additional shelves on a second and third level. Otherwise, a table constructed with these trestles offers maximum legroom. The tabletop rests on two circular metal plates of 10 cm diameter each. They are rubberized (in case the choice falls on a glass tabletop). For use with a wooden tabletop, they feature holes through which the wood can be screwed tight. Using screw and wing nut, you can vary the height of the support plate in twelve steps. The working height ranges from 66.5 cm to 91.5 cm (to be added is the height of the tabletop). It is therefore easy to adapt a table set up with these trusses to a wide variety of applications. It can be used as a workbench, but also as a writing or dining table. Made in a Berlin workshop.
The construction steel has been treated for corrosion with a special oil. You can remove rust spots with fine steel wool and treat the material with refined oil afterwards.
