Salt and Pepper Travel Set

General Information
Salt and Pepper for the Road.
"Vessels for Fine Dining" is how David Müller describes his monastery design project. The project has been realised in collaboration with the smithy in the Abbey Königsmünster. It was important for the young designer to make palpable the qualities of honesty, simplicity and authenticity as monastic values in objects from everyday life. What emerged was a set of vessels for spices, vinegar and oil. The extension of this concept is this practical set of two travel receptacles, one for salt and one for pepper, which one can drop in a cloth bag and take along when travelling. The stainless steel vessels are stopped with corks, and the pepper vessel includes a small mortar for grinding the peppercorns.
