Its stroke is quite a bit more filigreethan the mechanical pencil made bythe same manufacturer: the refill, called„needlepoint“ has a stroke width ofonly .35 mm. Due to the wrap-aroundconstruction of the ink refill it is alsoquite a bit more stable than a graphitelead and will not wear out while writing,making the pen mechanism that muchsimpler. But the barrel shares the sameelegant design: at the top it is hexagonaland beginning in the area where itis held and continuing to the tip it becomesround, so the pen sits perfectlyin the hand.
