For Pomp and Circumstance.
Linen polishing cloths were used by professionals in the past, until microfibre cloths pushed them aside. This polishing cloth is manufactured by the Hoffmann linen mill in the Lausitz. It’s made from dry-spun raw linen yarn and assembled in plain weave. Instead of a being tight and smooth the thread is more voluminous, and, at a grade of fineness of Nm 9.5, quite strong. The cloth is robust and thanks to the rougher surface in addition to the material qualities of linen, it will absorb a lot of moisture. So it’s perfect for drying and polishing smooth gleaming surfaces made of glass, like mirrors or windows, or ceramic, metal or chrome surfaces. Not suitable for sensitive lacquered surfaces.
