Oak Boot Rack
Field-Tested. Highly Rated.
Gardeners usually use racks like these for their work boots. The gumboots are placed sole facing upwards on the pegs of the boot rack. Upside down they are aired, and any mud which is clinging to the soles can dry and be easily removed (outside, of course).
Since it is very resistant anyway, the oak has been left untreated. The boot pegs have been rounded at the top so as not to damage the inner sole and lining of the footwear. From Shropshire.
Please note that oak contains tannic acid, which can lead to discoloration. We recommend that you bear this in mind when selecting a place for the stand, especially if the surface is sensitive. To ensure that the wood does not get wet, do not place the boot rack on a damp surface.
