All weather. A parka for the whole year.
This mountain patrol parka, which
draws its inspiration from the 1950s
era, offers its wearer protection from
the elements without restricting movement.
The Y-shaped ”beaver flap“ is
This flap allows the parka to be worn in
three ways: with regular buttoned-up
back (the beaver flap is buttoned higher
up on the back), with extended back or
with the beaver flap run between the
legs and buttoned at the front, giving
the parka the perfect fit even on the
toughest terrain. The large buttons are
easy to open even when wearing
gloves; the belt runs through the jacket.
A spacious sideways pocket on the
chest can be used for card storage,
two large welt pockets to warm your
hands or carry items.
Nigel Cabourn has the parka manufactured
at the same factory where it has
always been made – out of cotton fabric
coated with beeswax and paraffin.
The parka is lined with light tweed made
from 100% pure new wool.
