Article Number 18962
From Beach to City.
nat-2™ uses certified sheepskins of Australian origin to make these ankle boots, which were originally designed in the 1930s. They gained popularity for the first time in the 1960s and 70s when surfers and open water swimmers started wearing them on the beach to keep their feet warm. Today, the boot has become an important fashion item in the urban context. The nat-2™ version of the boot has a decorative seam on the front part, the back shaft edge is equipped with a leather heel tab.
nat-2™. Synthesis of Past, Present and Future.
Munich is the home of the young label nat-2™, whose founder Sebastian Thies descends from one of Europe's oldest shoemaking dynasties, currently in its sixth generation. Thies is now striking out in his own new direction and aims to challenge big names in the industry by always being one step ahead. Recycling is a buzzword, but the company also focuses on combining materials to produce unusual composites. nat-2™'s innovative designs are often inspired by the street and board sport culture of the 1990s, nevertheless they are strongly rooted in the present day and made with a view to the future. The stylish, yet down-to-earth shoes are manufactured in established high-quality production facilities.
