Market Bag Made of Canvas

This large bag is designed for a shopping spree or a weekend getaway, so it's roomy and robust. It's made from the same durable, water repellent canvas as our leisure jackets, from a half-linen in a dense, double threaded basketweave which makes the material all but indestructible. The 4 mm thick vegetable tanned harness leather carrying straps are an extremely durable partner for the rugged material of the bag. Thanks to the adjustable length the bag can be carried by hand or strapped to the shoulder. The outside corners of the bottom of the bag – which are particularly subject to wear – are reinforced with cow leather suede patches. The bag will accommodate considerable quantities of shopping while there is plenty of room in the large rectangular bag for celery or baguettes. The large model has space for the weekly visit to the farmer's market and is also suitable for a junket to the beach or duty as a sports bag. An additional small canvas bag, the "Declutterer", is separately available and will keep order in the large bag.
This version of our canvas bag is equipped with two crossbars which can be closed and keep the bag narrow when it is sparsely loaded or not at all. An inside pocket with a zip holds the wallet, keys and other small items.
