It is just as unthinkable that this utensil could go missing from our range. In the same way it is an indispensable piece in the French cuisine, where it is part of the classic equipment. The mandolin is an intelligent, robust machine for cutting and preparing all kinds of vegetables in whatever thickness and shape, from waffle patterned carrots, wafer thin potato gratin to matchstick sized sliced potatoes. More stability on the worktop gives the mandolin a stop bracket on the foot. The bracket can be hooked to the edge of worktop or kitchen table.
The machine has a two-sided cutting block for stick thicknesses from approximately 3 to 10 mm and an opposing blade plate for decorative slices. The thicknesses of the slices can be continuously adjusted from from .3 to 10 mm. Our mandolin comes with a protective sled handle made of wood, not plastic. Like any professional implement, it requires some practice for its handling. Each of the 7 parts of the machine and a set of all screws are available as spare parts. Orderers receive a list.
