Linen Bed Covers
Fine Stripes. Straight Up and Down.
At first glance, seen from a distance, this bedding made of pure linen looks as if it might be mottled. Only on closer inspection are the fine stripes visible, crossed, here and there, longitudinally. In the light (white-blue) variation, the stripes are blue while the background is white. The red or blue-white covers, on the other hand, have white stripes on a coloured field. Hoffmann, the Lusatian weaving mill, only uses linen from European long-fibre flax. The yarn used here is quite fine with a thickness of NM 26 and produces an equally fine and light fabric with a soft, slightly granular feel.
