The parts: a number of solid larch slats and three strong hemp ropes. They all come together in a simple folding easy chair. It has two seating positions: a more upright and a more reclining and comfortable. The flexible construction is particularly advantageous on uneven ground, and the chair can never tip. The wood used for the chair is just as unflappable. Untreated larch is very durable and comparatively less sensitive to the wet. Over time it will turn grey. The folding chair is a joint Finnish-Estonian production.

Larch is rich in pitch and can when it is untreated leave traces on clothing.
