Ladies’ Deerskin Hooded Jacket
Opulence down to the Last Detail.
The old, established Saxon tannery of Müller in Nossen, founded in 1830, provides us with the downright luxurious deerskin that goes into this unusual hooded jacket. Color is applied by hand after tanning. The leather always looks yellow on the reverse side at the cut edges, which is typical for chamois tanned leather. The body lining is formed by a stable cotton twill, the rayon serge sleeve lining makes it easier to put on the jacket. This ladies’ model has a slightly waisted cut.
Hack. Leather Goods with Character.
For decades, Christoph Hack has been dealing with very different kinds of leather in Cologne, collecting a wealth of experience that all goes into the design of his garments. For example, Hack only works with untreated leather, on which a considerable patina forms over time. The resulting changes in colour and surface are expressly desired because they allow the leather garment to age with honour. The jackets are partially assembled at the Hack headquarters in Cologne and partly in a Polish partner company.
