Jokipiin Pellava. Towelling with Linen Terry
Linen towelling from Jokipiin Pellava in Finland is unique: The Finnish weavers use a cotton yarn for warp and weft and a linen yarn for the pile warp. When you towel yourself, the long loops made from linen yarn have a massaging effect on the skin. It's the towel of choice after taking a sauna. We offer the towels in two colours. The light coloured towels come in a plain shade of ivory; the slightly darker tone of the other model originates from black cotton yarn in the weft that mingles to the eye with light coloured cotton and linen yarns in the ground warp and pile warp. The light cotton and linen yarns are unbleached and undyed.
