Galvanized Steel Raised Vegetable Bed
These raised beds provide the opportunity of successfully growing herbs, lettuce, zucchini, cucumber and Swiss chard even in cramped quarters (the beds are not suitable for vegetables with deep roots, like carrots).
No waterlogging, but spaciousness.
The bottom of the beds sinks towards a rubber insert in the middle of the bottom, and any surplus of water flows off. Place a bucket under the rubber insert, so you can easily collect the surplus and water other plants with it. Additionally, pots, buckets and tools find a place there as well.
Gardening at a Higher Level. Natural Intensification.
Especially in confined spaces, the old horticultural culture technique of the raised bed offers the opportunity to naturally intensify horticulture and multiply the crops without additional fertilizer; In southern China, the culture has been intensively cultivated on hillside beds for centuries and the special fertility of this cultivation has been used. A further development from recent times is the raised bed, which has many advantages: the soil temperature is significantly higher than in the field - the side walls are directly illuminated by the sun. The higher temperature of the soil allows up to three harvests a year, as the seeds germinate faster and the vegetables ripen earlier. The right filling with the best soil qualities is a prerequisite for optimal plant growth. We add a manual to each variant of our raised beds. Last, but by no means least, in gardens that are haunted by snails or voles, a raised bed offers better control and control options.
