Folding comb, cellulose acetate
Article Number 27669
Cellulose acetate, which used to be a substitute for horn and tortoiseshell, is today an original material in itself, with amazing optical brilliance and with a marbled effect which looks different in every product for which it is used. G.B. Kent & Sons, manufacturers of very fine top-quality brushes since 1777 and located near London, use cellulose acetate to produce this sturdy folding comb with fine toothing. It is, of course, hand-sawn and each tooth is trimmed separately.
