Inside and Out: Recycled Polyamide from Ecoalf's Ocean Project.
Ecoalf manufacturers this jacket with its lining made of animal pain-free goose down and feathers from certified farms in China and recycled polyamide from its Ocean project. The jacket has a figure-accentuating cut with elasticised cuffs. The two-way zip shuts the jacket nearly wind-proof. Two zip pockets sit discretely in the side seams, and another pocket pouch with a rubber slit opening for a headphone is located inside the jacket on the right side. The lining is light, breathable and has a high degree of heat storage capacity. The jacket is cut small, so please order one size larger than is normal for you.
Ecoalf. Environmentally compatible, fashionable and fair.
The Spaniard Javier Goyeneche was appalled by the waste of raw materials in our throw-away society. He had an idea. In 2009 the designer established his own label, Ecoalf, to produce clothing and accessories from recycled materials.
Fishing nets, PET bottles and old automobile tyres are transformed into polyamide thread and processed into sturdy fabrics for the Ecoalf ocean project. It took Goyeneche a whole year to find companies that could perform the costly mechanical processes. A small patch on every Ecoalf product informs the wearer about the resource consumtion for its manufacture and documents the ecological balance.
