Jacquard-Weave. With a Colour Progression.
The name Nuée stands for the collaboration between the Belgian linen weaver Verilin and the two French textile designers Liv Mathilde Méchin and Côme Touvay. Together, they have perfected a complex and thus rarely employed weaving technique to produce fabrics with colours that gradually appear to vanish or intensify depending on perspective. The very subtle colour nuances and light reflections are created by combining white linen in the warp and yarn-dyed and white linen yarns in the weft. It is the accurate weaving technique which brings the exceptional quality of the material to light and allows for an interplay of luminosity and colour. Verilin uses for this curtain Belgian linen made of long flax fibre.
