British Hip Flask Made of Tin

General Information
Bolstering the morale. Sheffield hipflasks – made of tin.
They are handmade in a metalworking firm that has been in business since 1877. The firm is specialized in the manufacture of jars, jugs and trophies made of silver but also of tin, in alloys without lead.
Historic example.
The hipflasks’ slender design goes back to the Victorian era. For the bolstering of one‘s morale – and that of one’s fellow hikers – they are filled with something high-proof. To be handed around in a circle, large or small, and returned to a place of safety in the inside pocket of the hiking jacket. But don’t try to stand one up: with it’s rounded off bottom it will refrain from an upright position.
