3 Calepino Notebooks
For Quickly Jotting down Notes.
The namesake of the manufacturer of these Calepino Notebooks is Ambrosio Calepino, an Italian lexicographer living around the end of the 15th century. He most certainly filled his share of notebooks for his humanist Latin dictionary, which became so successful and widespread in the Europe of the Renaissance that "Calepino" became a synonym for a lexical collection and "calepin" the French word for notebook. This one is produced in Nantes and serves to collect thoughts and notes. Its paper is made from sustainable forestry products, chlorine free bleached, with a cover made from recycling material printed with vegetable colours. The booklets are in a 14 x 9 cm format, rounded on the corners and protected by a cardboard cover with a weight of 325 g/m², so they’ll maintain their shape in the face of frequent transportation or pulling them in and out your pocket. They come in a package of three in a folding carton, so you’ll always have a supply on hand.
