2 Door Handles Made Of Cast Iron With Handle Rosettes
Cast iron. A reconciliation of opposites.
Cast iron is congealed movement, quenched heat, frozen flow and the range of these opposites is visible, can be grasped and is a haptic fact characteristic of cast iron. Unlike steel the montane origin of the material derived from iron ore and coal and is still perceptible in the surface of the cast iron.
Cast iron handles.
These classic, no-frills handles are cast for us in Heiligenhaus. The smooth feel of the beautiful iron comes with a coating of Owatrol oil to protect against corrosion. Constant use will also protect the handle from corrosion, which is not an issue indoors. When the handle is installed outdoors, frequent hand contact or oiling or just occasionally rubbing it down with steel wool is all the care it needs. The handle will show appreciation for being used by becoming more beautiful.
Please bear in mind:
For door handles and knobs you have a choice and unless otherwise indicated you must order all plates of a desired size separately:
We offer standard backplates for German doors with a gap of 72 mm from the keyhole to the center of the grip hole or a set of handle and keyhole rosettes for which there is no standard gap. The backplates we offer are standard for Buntbart locks with a normal door key.
The door handle cross sections are 8 by 8 mm and 7 x 7 mm for the window handles. Those are the normal sizes for contemporary doors and windows.
Unless otherwise indicated the handles are delivered without screws.
