2 Die-Cast Zinc Backplates
Made in Switzerland. Die-Cast Zinc.
Zinc was cast from the first third of the 19th century until the early 20th century and was an important material in architecture. It later replaced by other materials. We found a manufacturer who still casts zinc.
For door handles and knobs you have a choice and unless otherwise indicated you must order all plates of a desired size separately:
We offer standard backplates for German doors with a gap of 72 mm from the keyhole to the center of the grip hole or a set of handle and keyhole rosettes for which there is no standard gap. The backplates we offer are standard for Buntbart locks with a normal door key.
The door handle cross sections are 8 by 8 mm and 7 x 7 mm for the window handles. Those are the normal sizes for contemporary doors and windows.
Unless otherwise indicated the handles are delivered without screws.
