Chamois tanned Deerskin.
Soft deerskin gloves are well-known for their extraordinary comfort – there’s absolutely no friction or creasing between hand and leather. The German firm that make them use 0.7-0.8 mm-thick deerskin that is chamois tanned and then ‘painted’ red or olive on the outside only – to be precise, the aniline colouring is brushed on. The inner side retains the yellow shade of the natural deerskin, which is visible at the end of the glove.
The gloves are made in a traditional glove-making area of south-west Germany.
