Hand-sewn Paisley Cravats from Hamburg.

Paisley, whether on a red or a blue base, is the classic pattern for silk cravats. Ours come from the Hamburg firm of Laco in discreet colours and with Hanseatic understatement. They're hand-sewn – very unusual in Germany, and, we guess, in England too – out of Italian silk and a double-layer 'filling' of wool and cotton to ensure the cravat keeps its shape at the front of the neck and has a nice 'fall'. An intriguing detail is the 'Passantino' at the back for inserting the narrow end of the cravat: altogether, a piece of elegant neck-wear that bears witness to the care, craftsmanship and tradition (150 years) of this Hamburg firm.
