We’ve taken 6 treasures from Wickels’ box of tricks and had the patterns made up to 50 x 70 cm sheets, suitable for wrapping greeting cards, boxes, files, books or gifts. Strong paper (60 g), brown, fine-ribbed, aluminium-coated (total weight 85 g/sq.m.). 6 sheets with a variety of motifs. 50 x 70 cm.

The old-established German firm of Wickels in Fürth is well-known for its quality decorative paper: wall-paper, lamp-shade paper, wrapping paper and so on. For over 50 years now they’ve been specializing in metal-foil-enhanced paper, in particular aluminium. At first glance you may perhaps not notice much difference between this and ordinary shiny motif paper. It’s worth taking a second look. The visual ‘kaleidoscope’ is astonishing. Now you see cubes flying over a field, now frost patterns, now a multi-layered celluloid structure…the variety is endless!
