Kapok – tree down.

As soft and light as down, kapok is made from the seed capsules of the wild Indian kapok or ’wool’ tree, whose fibres are perfectly adapted for a variety of sporting needs: for example, kapok possesses great insulating power, keeps out the damp, is, as we said, extremely soft and light, and, thanks to its bitter taste, does not attract moths or mites, and is thus anti-allergic.
