Ladies' nightdress – reversible.

This is far from being a simple nightdress. It can also be worn in the house during the day. It is made by Armor Lux from fine Egyptian cotton (Nm 56) with a special kind of double-knit: two layers are knitted separately and during the knitting process are joined together by means of a 'connecting thread'. The result is one single garment, but one that has a different pattern on each side. It is a robust yet soft jersey-knit showing on one side a simple colour (in the illustration, olive) and on the other a pattern of stripes. Overlock seams are used. The borders of the garment are finished with simple elastic thread without hems so the quality of the material on both sides can be fully appreciated. This way, when the garment is worn as a nightdress, the sleeves can be rolled up to show the pretty striped pattern on the underside. On the other hand it can be worn 'the wrong way round'.
