The clothing industry is probably the best – or worst – example of the gen-eral flight of manufacturers out of Europe to North Africa, the Far East. The cheaper the product, the further away the loom. There are not many exceptions, but Wolfgang Grupp is one of them, and perhaps the most impressive. His firm has been producing cotton- and jersey-wear in Burladingen, southwest Germany, for more than eighty years now. During that time not one single machine-shop has been relocated and not one single job has been lost to a low-wage country, and the firm is sticking to this excellent principle. This policy has produced a number of bonuses: high quality, good craftsmanship and a price and brand policy that avoids both the uppermost and the lowermost ends of the price range. Fine-ribbed underwear for ladies and gentlemen.

This underwear is knitted on special machines in tubular form – side seams are not necessary. Long-fibred, combed cotton (190 g/sq.m); fineness of thread Nm 50. Flat seams at sleeve, shoulder and crotch. Gentlemen's models in the following sizes: S-XXL. Ladies' models in the following sizes: S, M, L , XL.
