These hooks of cast brass come from one of the most traditional areas of the German metal processing industry. Because of their exceptionally good material and workmanship quality they are frequently used in shipbuilding where durability under difficult circumstances is absolutely vital. All the parts are smoothed by hand and sand-blasted, which shows in slight but important differences, thus proving the high processing quality of these hooks. The surfaces are coated with an especially durable protecting layer of 8 m Nickel and 0,3 m chrome.

The modern world of metal shimmers with the reflections of stainless steel and chrome. They eclipse the raw material which has its own beauty: crude iron. We have shown previously that lesser-grade steel and iron are superior to stainless steel, for example for cutting and cooking. You can see from these items that crude iron has an aesthetic charm all of its own.
