A very special floor sweeper.
Rotaro: The original Leifheit.
Günter Leifheit brought the idea for his subsequently famous floor and carpet sweeper back from the USA in 1957. He improved it by making it slimmer (for use under wardrobes and beds), by adding retractable handles and by making it easy to dismantle.
His »Leifheit-Rotaro« was first made in 1960. We are marketing this original Leifheit, which differs from all its many successors produced since by having sheet steel housing, a proper wooden axle and a very strong natural bristle filling. It runs on six wheels which drive the three rotating brushes. The largest brush has four different height adjustments (depending on floor). The two side brushes have spring suspension.
