50 % beeswax, 50 % carnauba wax dissolved in balsamic turpentine. 500 ml metal can.
Real wax polish. This can be distinguished from inferior modern imitations by the presence of two ingredients: pure beeswax and turpentine. Only our older customers will be able to remember the very special, almost narcotic smell that wood floors gave off when treated with this mixture. It survives today as a specialist substance used by furniture restorers. The beeswax cleans and leaves a deep, natural shine.

Manufactum's description of this polish intrigued me. But they were right - it does have a slightly narcotic smell to it, and it reminds me of my childhood if I went into any old buildings or halls when they had polished wodden floors. I've used it on my stairs and hall table with superb results.
