Klar's Birch Tar Soap

Birch tar generated by the destructive distillation of birch bark is a very old remedy for skin conditions. The birch tar oil (approx. 1%) in this soap is made of the common birch (betula pendula). It is a pure essential oil. 3 x 100 g.

Since 1840, the Klar company in Heidelberg has been in the soap boiling business. We have an absolutely pure curd soap made there which is also the basis for three more, so-called "functional" soaps, each with one added ingredient that has a special and well-tried virtue: sulphur, natural brine and birch tar.
