Since 1880, the »New York-Hamburg« has had an uncontested technological lead in the production of top-quality hairdressing combs made of ebonite, a hard rubber compound on a caoutchouc basis with features very similar to those of buffalo horn. The teeth of the comb are sawn, rounded and then polished with specially developed diamond cutters.
A double-cone tooth with an even surface is produced, which gently runs along hair shafts without damaging them - hairdressers all over the world swear by this comb.
