Schröder Brown-Black Reversible Belt
Simple but effective - the solid brass buckle is shaped so that only the prong has to be moved to reverse the belt. Vegetable tanned cowhide, material thickness 2.4 mm. Belt width 29 mm, 5 belt holes. Solid brass buckle, polished and galvanised, silver-coloured without nickel.

Schröder and Son.
Schröder and Son in Schleswig-Holstein have been manufacturing leather and leather products since 1796. The company was originally a bark tannery, which might well explain why the raw materials used are selected with a degree of care and attention rarely found in the industry today: only the best, vegetable tanned cattle shaft leather is used. The top layer of leather is barrel-dyed rather than simply sprayed as is more common today. The belt edges are thinner and have been shaped to give them a more elegant appearance.
