The desk light:
parts that make a whole.

Instead of a ready-assembled desk light, we offer you four separate components – based on original 1925 designs – for you to put together to suit your own individual requirements.

First: a light.
The light itself has a 360° adjustable hemispherical reflector shade made of nickel-plated brass, and a flexible arm 30 cm in length of the same material. At the bottom is a short metal tube (4 cm long) that fits into the stand, or, if you wish, on to a desk bracket. The brass switch is at the top of the light.

Second: a stand. Two alternatives.
You can opt for a really solid stand of nickel-plated brass reinforced with heavy cast iron or a screw-on bracket – or both, if you want to use the easy-to-carry light in two or more places in your office, for example desk and drawing-board.

Third: an extension tube.
This is 27 cm long, and, if put in place of the short base tube, enables you to alter the height of the light and the beam direction.

Lamps.

All too often these days our choice of furniture falls into two categories - »nostalgic« or »trendy« - we are faced with a similar problem when it comes to lighting. Together with a number of established English, French, Austrian, German and Swiss light manufacturers, we are attempting to find a third alternative.
