Our forefathers knew an extremely simple and natural way of giving wood lasting protection from outside influences – heat treatment, with no chemical additives! It works like this: heat the wood to between 180-220° C, and a kind of ‘caramelization’ takes place, producing a dark brown coloration.

This 1968-style espresso pot is a real classic. And not only in shape, but also in substance, which can be seen straightaway – for example, with its polished stainless steel instead of the usual aluminium. And the top section is locked on to the bottom by a handle, not the usual aluminium screw-on mechanism (which always gets stuck!).
