horn, bone or mother-of-pearl should not be put in the dishwasher. Prolonged contact with heat or water can damage these natural materials.

This fascinating material has been used for spoons which do not affect the taste of food for many centuries now. Our spoons are made from mother-of-pearl from the South Seas.
