From time to time – if we're particularly impressed by an article: judge for yourself with the Seca! – we complement our traditional range of mechanical weighing and measuring machines with digital and electric models.

The flat, flat Seca.

The “flat" electric Seca is a heavy article, built to last for ever, with a sturdy synthetic body, and so low (it's less than 5 cm high) that you can step on to the (non-slip) weighing platform without any danger of stumbling. Easy-to-read digital display. The machine works with the "Step-Off" technique: you don't see your weight till you've stepped off. Weights are electronically calculated from a base zero figure, which in turn constantly adapts to changes in room temperature, humidity etc. Automatic switch-on / switch-off function (step-on activation).
