§ 1 Warranties

Our manufacturers guarantee the reliability of their products. For the exact warranty conditions, please refer to the descriptions in the catalogue and the specifications stated in the operating instructions. We also bear responsibility for the products within our range. For two full years from the date of your invoice, we will ensure that your warranty claims are fulfilled and that you are provided with high-quality service.

§ 2 Return and cancellation

You have a general right to return goods within a period of 14 days.
You are obliged to return the goods to us in the same condition as they arrived and to take reasonable care ensuring that the goods are received by us and are not damaged in transit. There is a returns form attached to the invoice you receive with your goods. Please fill in this form and affix the label to your parcel. (To be on the safe side, please remember to register the parcel.)

We will immediately settle any credit which arises as a result of a return, unless you wish to use this credit to place a further order. If, contrary to experience, the goods do not meet your expectations and our high standards of quality, please contact our complaints department. In case of a problem on your part, there is a generous policy in place, to deal with events following the expiry of the 14-day grace period. You can always talk to us.

§ 3 Prices

All prices in this catalogue include V.A.T. at the current valid rate

§ 4 Purchase of knives

Please note that knives cannot be sold to people under 16 years of age.

§ 5 Shipping costs

We charge a shipping cost of GBP 4.95 per order. If, of course, we are forced to deliver your order in partial shipments due to technical reasons, the shipping cost is only levied once.

§ 6 How you can pay

For all orders you will be able to choose from the following methods of payment:

1. on invoice

   Only private customers can place orders on invoice; companies or institutions cannot place orders on invoice without naming a consignee. We verify and evaluate your data before we accept payment on invoice for the first time.

2. via creditcard

   We accept Visa or Mastercard. All credit card data will be transferred SSL-encrypted.

§ 7 Delivery

Delivery is carried out via Royal Mail or parcels service - generally within 10 days. However, please remember that our products are not mass-produced articles. We will not always be able to avoid longer delivery times. In such cases, the order can also be carried out in partial shipments.

Our offer is subject to change without notice. Because our products are not mass-produced articles, slight deviations from the photographs and specifications contained in the catalogue may occur.

In order to process your order, we store your address and all order-related data. We are, of course, obliged to comprehensively protect your personal data in accordance with UK data protection legislation. In addition, we assure that your address will not be forwarded to third parties, and will only be used within the Manufactum group of companies.

Delivery contracts which are concluded with us are subject to English law. Insofar as can be agreed, the court of jurisdiction is London.

Contracts with Manufactum Ltd are only governed by these terms and conditions.
