Parfumiers in Grasse have specialized in the distillation, extraction and enfleurage of blossoms from the local cultivated plants since the 17th century. Their creations are world-famous . The traditional House of Molinard was founded in 1849 and is still – now in the fifth generation – using the traditional methods to create high-quality scents.
Gentleman's Fragrance from Provence.
Based on a classic composition from the golden age of gentlemen's fragrances, this scent from Molinard enhances the traditional Fougère combination of lavender, oak moss and coumarin (dating back to 1882) with additional typical Provencal scents: rosemary, estragon and lime, which together give a touch of freshness to the heavy Fougère heart note. The special Molinard touch is also apparent in a perfume base that combines the freshness of vetiver with the warmth of cedar and patchouli. Molinard incidentally revolutionized the whole scent world in the 1920s with the discovery of Asian vanilla grass as an ingredient.
Rasoline: the Gentleman's Classic.
Molinard started marketing a new kind of shaving cream in 1930 that didn't need to be applied by brush. It's maintained its popularity up to today. It's based on sweet almond oil, which gives it a discreet fragrance. It's easy to apply and doesn't foam up. Suitable for all skin types, and for the toughest beards, it gives a close shave and leaves the skin looking supple and cared-for. » to the product...
